The floor model is a recreation of the D variant of the Corsair fighter aircraft from the Second World War. The fighter provided invaluable support to all ground units in the Philippines, Okinawa and after WWII the fighter served in Korea. For the D- variant, the wing sections were extended to carry a total of eight missiles. Bombs and drop tanks were also fitted under the wings.
