Galileo Galilei is a game about discovering celestial bodies in the firmament. You take on the role of a historical figure who does his best to become the most famous astronomer of the era.

The central mechanism is the alignment of the telescope. This is how you choose your actions. These allow you to discover celestial bodies and constellations in the firmament, write books, teach at university or secure other advantages. When discovering, you can always choose between constellations and the more expensive – but more lucrative – celestial bodies. To observe successfully, you must spend light cubes in certain colours. In addition to victory points, there are also other bonuses as a reward. And sometimes, for particularly heretical observations, you have to take inquisitors into your cellar.
