The Northrop F-5 Tiger II is a light twin-engine fighter aircraft developed by the American company Northrop Corporation. In the 1970s, Switzerland purchased these aircraft, which were known for their excellent manoeuvrability and ease of control. The F-5s entered service with the Swiss Air Force Patrouille Suisse in 1995. Despite their age, Tiger IIs are still impressive machines that can put on dynamic and spectacular air shows. Patrouille Suisse has earned an international reputation for its incredible piloting skills and impressive displays, and the F-5 aircraft are an integral part of their success and recognition.
Use 351 COBI bricks to build an F-5 Tiger II fighter aircraft in the colours of the famous aerobatic squadron of the Swiss Air Force team Patrouille Suisse. The licenced set has been built with the greatest of care from the plans of the F-5 aircraft using clamp building blocks. The aircraft features characteristic beautiful red decals, movable ailerons and removable landing gear. The cabin can be opened and a simplified pilot figure with helmet and print can be placed inside. The set includes a display base made of clamping bricks and a sign with the name, scale of the aircraft and the Swiss flag.
