Alteredisa two-player trading card game in which each player brings a deck led by a hero card.

In Altered, you lead two expeditions to discover and explore the land around your home peninsula of Asgartha. One of your expeditions is led by your hero, represented by the hero’s expedition marker. The other is led by his companion, represented by the companion’s expedition marker. These expeditions move towards each other over the course of the game, and your goal is to be the first to bring them both together.

The booster display for Altered: Beyond the Gates contains36 booster packs. Each booster pack contains 1 hero card, 3 rare cards, 8 common cards and 1 token card (75% chance) or 1 foil card (25% chance). A rare card can be replaced by a unique card (12.5 % probability).
