It is the middle of the 19th century, the age of the industrial revolution has begun and the orphan boy Oliver Twist tries to make his way through life in the streets of London to escape the gloomy alleys of the city. He falls into the clutches of Fagin and his gang. It seems like a happy ending is a long way off … But with your support, money and luck, Oliver will find his coveted sanctuary in the Brownlow house. Can you give him advice and assistance and help him escape?

The highly interactive family game was penned by Keith Rentz and based on Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist. For poor orphan boy Oliver, the streets of London are not a good place to live at the start of the Industrial Revolution. But all pathetic attempts to escape from this situation fail. Oliver is sinking more and more into the crime of the streets of London. He is now trying to escape this ominous cycle … but he will not be able to do it without your help!

The special thing about Twist of Fate is that each card offers four different ways to play. It is up to you to decide which one makes sense and when, because there is always a give and take. Even if you don’t actually want to give … Each of your actions has a direct influence on another player.
