Feeding animals, children’s / learning game (DE), for 1-4 players, ages 3+

In the children’s game “All about the calendar” the question is what the animals prefer to eat. There is rustling in the grass! There is a hedgehog. Where does this prickly animal live and what does it prefer to eat? The children first choose the living space and then find out who lives there. This is how the hedgehog lives in the meadow. Little by little the children fill the habitat cards with more animals. The matching puzzle cut-out shows whether what you are doing is right. When inserting the parts, the children train their fine motor skills. So that every animal is full and satisfied, the animals are fed with the right feed.

In order to feed the animals, the children pull food piece cards from the cloth bag and assign them to the appropriate animal. The hedgehog, for example, likes to eat snails. The game “Feeding Animals” supports children in their thirst for knowledge and discovery. The description of the animals and their habitats also promotes the children’s language development. There is also a variant in which one player draws an animal card face down from the cloth bag, describes the animal or imitates noises, while the others guess which animal it is. If the game is repeated frequently, the peculiarities of the animals are all memorized.
