Jubako (DE), for 2 to 4 players, ages 8+

“Jubako” boxes are nicely decorated boxes made mostly of fine wood, in which Japanese food is served, especially on special occasions such as the New Year. The 2-4 players have to fill their own box with a variety of Japanese delicacies as skillfully and efficiently as possible. Whether rice, fish or various vegetables, everything has to be carefully placed and stacked even more carefully.

The few rules, the appealing material and a lot of variety due to several variants make this simple tactical placement game a treat at every dining … pardon: gaming table!

Caution: Not suitable for children under 36 months. Choking hazard due to small parts that may be swallowed.

His goal: to combine entertainment and instruction. His maxim: learn by doing. His quality standard: only the best.
