DSA Source Books: Tools of the Master – Box (DE)

Fights can quickly become confusing. The tools of the master box includes:

• The rules booklet Auf ins Gefecht describes in detail the use of blips and floor plans for Das Schwarze Auge. In clear examples and with many card illustrations, the rules of movement and combat are explained, how one can adapt known special skills and existing DSA5 rules for playing with floor plans, and what other options arise through the use of blips.
• This box contains blips for all figures, creatures and animals presented in the DSA5 rulebook and the Aventurian Almanac. The blips show cultural and professional images of heroes, archetypes, typical master figures from the almanac, orcs, goblins, trolls, ogres, wolves, an octopus newt and many other creatures. The set contains a total of 175 blips.
• For playing with blips, the master’s tools also provide a set of useful floor plans. It includes areas with forests, caves, roads, meadows, a hostel and its surroundings, a marketplace, a castle and a cult square. The plans are supplied in sizes A1 or A2, depending on the type of environment.
• The template set consists of two fixed punched sheets that contain various templates so that each round of the game can easily determine distances when using floor plans and blips. The two rangefinders show a distance of up to 8 paces and can thus show the most important distance units of DSA5 fights individually or in combination. Also included are templates to determine the most important radii (up to 3 steps and up to 5 steps) of spells, such as fireballs and protective spells, liturgies or other surface effects. The set is supplemented by quest markers, which can be used to mark certain areas of the floor plans. B. can stand for objects and goals of a scene.
