Two artificial intelligences compete against each other in a duel. The aim is to play command cards and take control. In the algorithmic card game Compile, two players take on the role of rival AIs and try to gain control of command columns and compile their protocols before the other person does.

At the start of each game, the players select three of the twelve protocols, which will face each other in three command lines. The individual protocols are associated with command cards, which are shuffled together to form a deck and form the personal draw pile. On your turn, you can draw or play command cards from your hand to the corresponding protocols and deal with the effects shown. Whoever skilfully uses the strengths of the respective protocol and exceeds the threshold may compile their protocol. The first player to compile all three protocols wins the game.
